Playing for Garville Netball Club
Garville Netball Club competes in senior and junior age group competitions during Winter and Summer seasons. We also compete in the South Australian Premier League.
REGISTRATIONS
2024 AMND WINTER SEASON
The Garville Netball Club invites all past and future players to register to trial for the 2024 AMND winter season. It is an expectation that all players attend all trials and wear plain attire, ie No Club, School or State colours are to be worn throughout trials. Trials on 4th February 2024 will be held St Michaels College, 15 Mitton Ave, Henley Beach. All other trials will be held at Netball SA, Railway Terrace, Mile End.

Primary (2013 & 2014)

Thursday 8 February 6pm to 8.30pm - COURT 12

Junior (2009 & 2010)
Thursday 8 February 6pm to 8.30pm - COURT 11

Inter (2007 & 2008)

Trainings are Compulsory
Our club Trainings are held on a Tuesday Night between 6-9pm (dependent on age group) at Netball SA Stadium Mile End. All players and teams are expected to train at the allocated times as per club direction.
Note: AMND League team and Inter 1 teams are expected to train twice weekly on Tuesday and 2nd night TBC.
Matches
Played on Saturdays at Netball SA Stadium 155 Railway Terrace, Mile End South.
Senior matches for 2024 are anticipated to commence 6th April 2024 and all other Grades anticipated to commence 4th May 2024, with anticipated match times below:
Sub Primary 8am
Primary 9.05am
Sub Juniors 10.10am
Juniors commence 11.15am
Intermediates 12.45pm
Seniors commence at either 2.15pm or 3:45pm.
Uniform
Uniform fittings will be available at our 1st trials or can be ordered online. If you are not selected your uniform costs will be returned to you.
Garville Netball Club - Sportscentre
The following items are compulsory for training and match day.
Training: black pants/shorts and Garville warm-up top (warm-up to be provided by the Club)
Match day: dress, shorts, socks, warm-up top and hoodie.
All other apparel is optional and available at SportsCentre.
Fees
Garville Netball Club fees are:
Seniors, Inters and Juniors is $490 per player
Sub-Juniors, Primary, Sub-Primary: $460.00 per player
All players who are selected in a team will be provided with a club warm-up top as a part of their registration fee.
On acceptance of your position, the Netball SA annual membership fee for Inter & Seniors $138.75 plus GST and $107.20 plus GST for Juniors and a 1.49% digital processing fee will be applied separately to the club’s registration fee. These fees are charged for the period 1 April 2024 until 31 March 2025.

Club fees must be paid at the time of registration, Netball SA Fees must be paid on acceptance of position.
No player will be allowed to trial unless all fees are paid in full prior to trial date
If a player is offered a place in a team and subsequently withdraws, there will be no refund offered.
Players who withdraw prior to the commencement of trials will receive a refund of club fees less $100 administration fee.
Players not selected in a team will receive a refund of club fees less $100 administration fee.
Due to large number of players trialling, no player is guaranteed a place in a team.
You will be notified by email when teams have been chosen.
Selection in a Summer Team DOES NOT mean automatic selection in a team for Winter competition. Previous selection in a Winter or Summer team does not give an expectation of an equivalent or higher grading for the coming season.
Government Sports Vouchers
The Government school vouchers to the value of $100 is available for students from Reception to Year 9 once per calendar year. Families wishing to use their sports voucher(s) please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@garville.com.au
Mikawomma Program
Garville is excited to launch the Mikawomma Aboriginal Program for all Aboriginal athletes, coaches and their families at the GREYS. The program will be led by ex-Premier League player Gabriel Stengle, a proud Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri, Narungga woman who looks forward to creating opportunities to further developing the talent and cultural connections within our club.
