The NEW 2026/27 Garville Netball Club Summer Program provides a range of opportunities for athletes to develop their skills, challenge themselves, and grow their game throughout the summer season. Developed in consultation with our club community, these exciting new programs cater for athletes at all stages of their netball journey. Each option is outlined below, and we encourage you to explore the choices available and choose the program that best suits your goals and commitments.
Summer Program Overview - 3 Options to Explore!
Option 1: Summer Netball CND Competition + Development Sessions
Summer CND competition. 4 x development sessions for Primary to Inters. Trial required.
Option 2: Greys Elevate Academy (Juniors & Inters)
Elite High-Performance program. Trial required. No participation in the Summer CND competition.
OR
Option 2: Greys Elevate Academy (Primary & Sub Junior)
Elite High-Performance program. Trial required. Weekly participation in the Summer CND competition.
Option 3: Development Sessions Only (Primary - Inters)
Development session series only. No weekly Summer CND competition. No trial required.

Compulsory attendance for all athletes wishing to trial for a Garville Summer team and/or Greys Elevate Academy:

NB: Boys 12 and under are eligible for all Garville Summer competition and development programs.
Option 1 – Summer Netball CND Competition + Development Program
Primary-Seniors | $380 (Primary-Inters) | $280 (Seniors) | Trial Required
Compete in the Summer City Night Division (CND) competition while continuing your development through the Garville Development Program sessions.
Selection into a Garville team to compete in the Summer CND competition.
No weekly training commitment.
Participate in 4 x development sessions delivered by High Performance Coaches (Primary to Inters only).
Attendance at both trial sessions is required for team selection.

NEW High-Performance Program
The Greys Elevate Academy is a brand-new elite development program designed for athletes who demonstrate a high level of commitment, motivation and potential for accelerated development within Garville's High Performance pathway. Designed as an alternative to competing in the Summer CND competition, the Elevate Academy provides Junior and Inter athletes with an intensive development experience focused on skill acquisition, performance growth and long-term player development.
Approximately 10–25 athletes per age group will be selected during Summer trials.
10-week High-Performance Development Program
Program sessions will take place on designated weeks between October-February
Coaching delivered by High-Performance Coaches
Intensive athlete development in a high-performance environment
Strength and conditioning program
Ongoing take-home fitness program
No participation in the CND competition

Our Sub Primary program is a fantastic way to introduce our youngest players to the game of netball, helping them build skills, confidence, and a love of the sport in a fun and supportive environment. Families should register for the summer season if their child would like to participate. Players will be placed into teams according to their age and level of experience to ensure an enjoyable and developmentally appropriate experience. Further information about a specialised six-week Sub Primary Development Program will be shared in the coming weeks.

Summer Competition Fees 2026/27
Sub-Primary: $280 per player
Primary, Sub-Juniors, Juniors, and Inters: $380 per player
Seniors: $280 per player
Elevate Academy (Inters & Juniors): $380 per player (no CND competition)
Elevate Academy (Primary & Sub Juniors): $380 per player (including CND competition)

Important Garville Trial Information and Policies
Important information – Please read
Club fees must be paid at the time of registration; Netball SA Fees must be paid on acceptance of position.
No player will be allowed to trial unless all fees are paid in full prior to trial date
If a 2nd year junior wishes to be considered for inters due to a clash with the junior Saturday time slot please submit your formal request to the trail committee for approval before registering trails@garville.com.au
Players who withdraw more than 48 hours before the commencement of trials may be eligible to receive a refund of club fees, less a $100 administration fee, at the discretion of the Board.
Players not selected in a team will receive a refund of club fees less $100 trial fee.
If a player is offered a place in a team and subsequently withdraws, there will be no refund offered.
Due to the large number of players trialling, no player is guaranteed a place in a team.
You will be notified by email when teams have been chosen.
Selection in a Summer Team DOES NOT mean automatic selection in a team for Winter competition. Previous selection in a Winter or Summer team does not give an expectation of an equivalent or higher grading for the coming season.
All players are required to attend ALL trials - If unable to attend the trial an email apology MUST be sent to the Trial Coordinator trials@garville.com.au
Some trials will be held on outside venues so please ensure you wear sunscreen, bring a hat when not on court and drink plenty of water during and prior to arriving at trials. Ensure you have enough water and some snacks to last the duration of the trial session.
Please refer to the club Facebook page for regular updates on trails as any changes that may need to occur can be very last minute. Make sure you have linked your Facebook with our club page if you have not done so already.
All players are expected to attend our club meet and greet to obtain important club information and a light training session. More information on this date will be circulated with team nominations.
Netballs SA Annual Membership
On acceptance of your position, the Netball SA annual membership fee for Inter & Seniors $138.75 plus GST and $107.20 plus GST for Juniors and a $4.49 INC GST digital processing fee will be applied separately to the club’s registration fee. These fees are charged for the period 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2027. If paid in Winter will not require to pay in summer
Government Sports Vouchers
The Government school vouchers to the total value of $200 are available for students from Reception to Year 9 twice per calendar year per child. Families wishing to use their sports voucher(s) please contact our Treasurer once you have registered at treasurer@garville.com.au

The Greys Elevate Academy is a new high-performance development program designed for athletes demonstrating strong commitment, motivation and potential. It provides intensive coaching, skill development and strength and conditioning opportunities throughout the summer months.

It depends on age group:
Primary and Sub Junior athletes selected in the Elevate Academy also play in the Summer CND Competition.
Junior and Inter athletes selected in the Elevate Academy do not participate in the Summer CND Competition due to the intensity of the program and the need to balance player wellbeing and load.

The Development Sessions Only option is designed for athletes who wish to continue developing their skills without a weekly competition commitment. It includes four development sessions with high-performance coaches. CND Summer team members will also participate in the same development sessions.

The Summer CND Competition begins on 13 October 2026 at Netball SA Stadium, Mile End. Match days vary by age group:
Tuesday evenings: Inters and Seniors
Friday evenings: Sub Juniors
Saturday mornings: Sub Primary, Primary and Juniors

No. Selection in a Summer team does not guarantee selection in a Winter team. Similarly, previous grading or team placement does not guarantee the same or a higher grading in future seasons.

No. Athletes participating in the Summer CND Competition (Option 1) do not have a weekly training commitment. Instead, Primary to Inter athletes participate in four compulsory development sessions across the season.

The Club Meet & Greet is a compulsory event incorporated into the first development session. It provides an opportunity for players and families to meet coaches, receive important club information, and connect with the wider Garville community.

The Academy is designed for athletes seeking an accelerated development pathway. It includes multiple compulsory sessions across October to February, high-performance coaching, and (for Juniors and Inters) strength and conditioning and take-home fitness programs. Families should consider the time commitment before nominating.

Yes. Boys aged 12 years and under are eligible to participate in all Garville Summer Competition and Development Programs. We welcome boys to be part of our netball community and encourage them to register for the option that best suits their age, experience, and development goals. Players will be placed in appropriate groups or teams based on their age and level of experience.
