Garville vs. Cougars

Results: Cougars defeated Garville 59 to 40 goals.

This was yet another tough match for Garville this week; however it saw the losing margin reduced to 19 goals due to a combined attacking and defensive effort.

A fantastic centre court performance came from Carla, the newest addition to the club who not only attacked hard but also put a lot of defensive pressure on her players.

The shooters did well with Stacey Peckover shooting most accurately at 70% followed by Julia Graham at 66% and Abby Williams at 62.5%. Not forgetting out defenders who provided 6 intercepts and 13 taps; making it hard work for the Cougars shooters limiting their scoring to less than 15 goals per quarter.

This weeks game saw vast improvements in our basic skill errors, efficiency and attacking/defensive efforts, which we hope to continue improving; in the hopes of getting a victory next time round.
