About Game Day

Each week, one of the players from the State League and Reserves will be writing a report about their game. It will be a great way to keep in touch with the happenings of the week. You will get to know the players and follow their progress throughout the year. We hope you enjoy it!! Go the Greys!!

A Prelude to our season

We have 3 new faces in the 2010 team, with still more girls to make their debuts for the season, when an opportunity arises.

STACEY PECKOVER is a country girl, who has been elevated after playing in the AMND last year. Her inclusion will show off her great aerial ability as well as her impressive shooting flair.

KATE WILLIAMS certainly has Garville in her veins. After having a couple of years off, she has the fire in her belly to play at the top level again. You will see her strong leads and drive to the circle result in great feeds to the goalers.

NATALIE ZESERS has made the move from Jags. It is always hard to move to a new club, having to get to know new players and take on new coaching styles. She has made a seamless transition, and I congratulate her on taking the risk. Nat is a strong bodied defender, who will make it hard for any attacker to get an easy ball.

These girls have been well supported by captain Hannah Horlin-Smith, vice captain Rebecca Salmon (Fish), Julia Graham, Sophie McCallum and Kirsten Sterrey (Kirk), as well as all the Reserves girls.
